Louis XV style mantel with canted scrolled jambs adorned with panels. The heads, which are equally scrolled, are garnished with upsidedown shells with flower drops. The curved front of the entablature centers around a palmette shaped cartouche, from which a large rounded molding emerges and runs down to the plinths. The slightly projecting shelf curves to follow the lines of the composition. Light plays beautifully on the grey blues of the Bleu Fleuri marble of this mantel.
