The very pure design of this mantel is characteristic of the Louis XVI style, which the color of the Turquin Blue marble enhances. Although this is a very simplified version of the Louis XVI mantel, the curved jambs that support a very plain entablature are maintained. They are adorned with molded fluting - a touch of originality. The entire front of the entablature bears a molded panel. Floral ornaments adorn the heads of the jambs.
