Beautiful antique 18th-century fireback with arms of alliance supported by two griffins and surmounted by a knight's helmet

This beautiful fireback dates from the 18th century. It celebrates an aristocratic marriage, by the alliance coat of arms which is represented. The two coats of arms side by side are framed by two beautiful griffins, and surmounted by a knight's helmet. The helmet is itself worn with a griffin's head and foliages radiate around it.
