This Napoleon III style fireplace was built in the 19th century. Its general sobriety highlights the jambs, sculpted in such a way as to bring volume and light to the Belgium black marble. They thus take the form of very curved consoles, with large corbels on the sides. Modillions placed at the top respond symmetrically, and are capped with capitals in doucine. The jambs are finally covered with acanthus leaves and stylized motifs typical of the Napoleon III style .
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
