This beautiful and rare antique fireplace from the Louis XV period was made during the 18th century out of walnut wood. The ornaments carved in low-relief are of very high quality. Inspired by the Rocaille style, this fireplace has a curved and almost divided shape, decorated with foliage. The jambs are decorated with a large double winding which goes along the whole of the upper part and ends in a carved garland of flowers. The centre of the entablature is decorated with a beautiful foliaged and floral shell. The sides of the fireplace are panelled.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor.
