Sold itemThis beautiful stone mantel is characteristic of the Louis XV style, but here an oxbow curved front, boldly crowned by an upside down shell flanked by foliage, enlivens the strict design. The jambs decorated with molded panels have a slight sheath and curve. The spandrels present the same panels. Following the the movement of the mantel, the shelf adds a refined elegance to the composition.
