The strict lines of this elegant Louis XVI period mantel in grey marble from the Ardennes are reinforced by a design of three flutes on the jambs. On the heads, a quarter-round encloses the top of the pilaster, creating a capital adorned with a stylized floral motif. This molding runs along the entablature underlining the molded panel of the front. This Antique style composition, both severe and refined, gives a very pure line to this mantel.
Without insert or hearth flooring.
