Louis XVI style mantel from the19th century with a decor using pure antique architectural motifs. The straight jambs are adorned with deeply fluted pilasters, filleted bellow. The front frieze centers on a round floral shape known as a “sun”, flanked by finely carved panels with recessed moldings.
