Magnificent Napoleon III mantel greatly inspired by Antique architecture carved in a Saravenza marble, a kaleidoscope of gray, beige and pink hues. The front of the entablature follows the Doric order of alternating triglyphs and metopes and protrudes above the hearth opening creating depth in the design. The jambs are pilasters adorned with panels. The shelf follows the movement of the composition.
