Complete panelled room in pine wood from the study of a town house in Bordeaux, including a door, a double door and a hidden door, a window with French inside shutters, all with their original hardware. A very rare walnut parquet flooring with a motif of stars of David completes the room. The fireplace was hidden behind one of the panels. The décor is Régence style, a style that transitions from the symmetry of the Louis XIV style to the birth of the Rococo of Louis XV. Under the paint there are traces of gilding.
The room is 13 ½ feet by 14 feet.
You will find a picture of the back of each door. Notice the picture of the open window with the cathedral of Bordeaux in the background.
Very good condition.
