Rare Louis XV style mantel from the 19th century made in cast iron. It is topped by an oak shelf. The entablature is adorned with a shell and foliage motif and round rosettes. The jambs adopt a curved shape, volutes unfolding at the top and the bottom. The heads are adorned with upside down shells that roll up into a scroll.
