Description

This mantel dates from the Restoration period in France with a simple very pure but powerful design. The console jambs give a sense of strength and stability. The straight plain lines of the frieze and shelf are softened by the curve above the hearth.

Additional information

Fireplace mantel in a marble called 'Fleur de Pêcher' or 'peach flower' marble - a purple base marble with ocher and gray veins and Breche type spots.
