This beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace is made out of white Carrara marble. It was made during the 19th century.
The fireplace is elaborately decorated with carved features. From the central shell, rises flowers and branches. The jambs are very curved and are the base of an elaborately carved decor. Reversed shells decorate the upper curves of the jambs and from these shells, delicate flowers wind down the jambs.
The sides of the fireplace are paneled.
This antique fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert or hearth, but they can be made to order.
