Red Griotte Belgium marble Pompadour mantel (Reference 1406)
Pompadour style Louis XV Belgium Red Griotte marble mantel from the 19th century. The long console curved jambs echo the volutes of the heads on either side of the entablature. The front is enlivened both with molded panels that follow the lines of the mantel and by the bright white veins that are richly scattered across this Griotte marble.
