Door surround in stone. The stone is currently sealed together with temporary cement that will not damage the stones. A sketch with numbered stones is provided to the buyer.

Directoire PERIOD: 1795-1799 Directoire is a period in the history of France between 1795 (the end of the Terror) and 1799 (Napoleon’s coup d'état). In artistic terms, this period is called neo-classical and is the link between Louis XVI and Empire styles. This is the beginning of the rigorous forms that dominated the coming style.
