Breche d'Alep marble mantle (Reference 9412)
This small Louis XV style mantel is in marble Breche d'Alep. Very geometrical, a double continuous molding runs across its square cornered front. These flat moldings are a variation on the classical rounded Bolection model.

Additional information
The marble used here is Breche d'Alep. The hearth front floor is a combination of Breche d'Alep marble and another beige colored Breche, probably form the Pyrenees.
