Large Restoration deep green marble mantel (Reference 1415)
Beautiful large deep green remarkably carved marble mantel. On the entablature, a central quatrefoil flower medallion flanked by carved recessed panels. Resting on end blocks the deeply fluted scrolled protruding jambs are adorned with a central string of pearls and rise up to vigorously carved acanthus leaves. The hearth is framed by a curved molded frame each spandrel adorned with a shell motif. The sides of the jambs are equally elegantly sculpted.
