Louis XVI style white semi statuary marble with columns (Reference 1408)
Semi statuary white marble mantel in the Louis XVI style with canted jambs of delicately carved semi detached fluted columns. The flutes are filleted, adorned with chains of husks, the columns rise up to a palm leaf belt, which supports heads adorned with acanthus leaf square rosettes. The entablature bears a simple refined panel framed with chains of pearls echoed in the cast iron insert.
