White marble Louis XVI mantel (Reference 1272)
The carving in this Louis XVI style mantel is of a beautiful quality. The pilaster jambs are fluted and finely filleted and rise up to full square acanthus leaf rosettes. At the center of the frieze a round rosette with whirling leaves is flanked by panels framed with strings of pearls.
