The interior of this antique fireplace is made out of cast iron. Following the Napoleon III style, it dates back to around 1880. The decor is very elaborate. The lintel is decorated with a cherub holding onto floral arabesques which spread across both sides of the lintel, and shelter chimeras, birds and foliage. The spandrels are decorated with dragons.
