This fireplace was carved in a Brocatelle marble in the 18th century, during the Louis XVI style.
The front is framed with a pearled frieze. The corners are onemented with paterae.
The jambs in the form of detached columns, ending with a pin cone and acanthus, resting on a dice.
The cast iron insert is simply enhanced with a pearled frieze.
This fireplace is sold with its cast iron insert and its marble floor.
