This small antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of Turquin Blue marble in the 19th century. The frieze, underlined by a thin row of gilded bronze pearls, has in its center a rectangular cartouche decorated with a garland of flowers in gilded bronze also. The ends of the frieze are decorated with bronze laurel wreaths and surmount fluted jambs.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop. The squares of the marble floor will be changed for the marble of your choice (contact us for availability).
