Very beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The sculpted decoration is elaborated: a large central shell adorns the frieze, surrounded by small finely carved flowers.
Winding jambs are also decorated with shells, acanthus leaves and flowers.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
