Rare pair of gilded wood mirror frames made in the 19th century in the Regence style. Delicately carved, they display a refined decor. The ogee molding around the frame is adorned with a pattern of alternating flowers and shells; from the lower corners rise lush acanthus leaves; the top is a flattened arch with at is center a large scroll and shell, framed with leaves and roses. The top corners are spandrels with lattice work filled with flowers, painted white and framed with a row of gilded pearls.
