This beautiful fireplace was sculpted in Rouge Royal marble (Red Royal) during the 18th century in Louis XV style.
The molded shelf rests on a serpentine front carved with a rocaille shell, framed by flowers. The corners of the front are ending with scrolls and foliages.
Each jambs are in the form of curved and tapered pilasters molded with two cartouches.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert or marble floor but these could be made to order, depending of the availability of the marble.
