This antique Louis XIV style fireplace was made out of Rose Enjugerais marble during the 19th century. A large molding known as a "Boudin" modling runs along the opening of the hearth. The curved console legs are on either side of the Boudin moulding. The fireplace is topped with a fluted acroterion.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert and with its original three squares marble floor.
