This antique Louis XV style fireplace was realized in Griotte Sanguine marble in the 19th century. It has the typical characteristics of the Pompadour model, named after the favorite mistress of King Louis XV : the paneled and canted jambs support a curved frieze adorned with a central medallion.
This fireplace is sold with its original marble floor but without any fireplace insert. This one could be made to order.
