This mantel was made in Carrara marble at the end of the 19th century.
Typical of the Louis XV style, its frieze receives a large shell on its center underlined by a thick but marked oblong moulding. The two wavy jambs show a small shell on each upper part and a paneled decor on the lower part.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
