Antique Louis XV style mantel realized in the 19th century in richly carved Carrara marble. The jambs are adorned with acanthus leaves in the upper and lower parts, volutes and scrolls on the shelf. The latter rests on a serpentine entablature with oblong moldings, adorned with a large stylized and finely worked shell, framed by large acanthus leaves and garlands of flowers
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
