This antique Louis XVI fireplace was made out of Carrara marble during the 19th century. This fireplace is elaborately carved and its dimensions are rare. The upper part of the fireplace features a greek frieze, seperated in the centre by foliage. The curved jambs are both decorared with a large acanthus leaf and a fine line of pearls. The top of the jambs are decorated with square rosettes.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without its marble floor. A marble floor could be made to order.
