In good condition. One crack on the shelf and some chips.
This Louis XVI fireplace was made out of Carrara marble during the 19th century. This model called "rounded corners" features curved jambs decorated with filleted fluting and crowned on both sides with asparagus heads. The entablature is decorated in the middle with an acanthus leaf medallion.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert. The marble floor is not available but could de made to order.
