This Louis XV style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Panazeau marble.
Its design corresponds to the Louis XV style. The top is sinuous, the front is serpentine and carved with a shell in the center. The angled jambs are scrolls shaped, and modeled with pilasters.
On each sides of the chimney gilt circular hinged ventilation ports.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order, depending on the availability of the marble.
