Beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace with three shells, realized in the 19th century, in Belgium black marble .
Its model with three shells presents here a beautiful central shell decorated with a bud. The carved lines are decorated with carved shells. The legs are delicately tapered.
Also known as black of Mazy or Black of Golzinne, the Black marble from Belgium, is characterized by its deep black color which gives to its perfect black polish an uniformity and exceptional velvety.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor.
