In good condition. The top is stained on the location of the pierglass (it is possible to make the tasks disappear on demand). Some stains around one air vent.
This antique Louis XV style fireplace with flowers decor in white Carrara marble was made during the 19th century in France.
At the center of the frieze, a shell is surrounded by acanthus leaves and flowers. Broad acanthus leaves are also sculpted at the top of the jambs with windings.
The cast iron insert is richly decorated with shells, volutes and curves inspired by the Rococo .
Carrara marble is one of the most beautiful marble thanks to its whiteness and its brilliance.
The sides of the fireplace are decorated with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
