Beautiful antique 19th century fireplace, made out of a carved white Carrara marble. The frieze is dug with flutings which are carved with a decoration of delicately represented asparagus heads. The heads of the frieze feature square rosettes. The shapely legs, curved in their upper part, are fluted with acanthus leaves in fall design.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
