This exceptional Louis XV style antique fireplace in beautiful, extremely white Carrara marble was made in the 19th century. The carved decoration of this fireplace is stunning in its detail and quality. The entablature features a plump foliaged shell from which sprout small realistic flowers, each of which is different from the others.
The jambs feature a considerable curve and are carved in their upper part with a thin shell and a small garland of flowers.
The sides of this fireplace are panelled with the triple motif.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
