In very good condition. Some stains on the front frame.
This Napoleon III style fireplace was made in the 19th century out of white Carrara marble.
The entablature is embellished with molded frames.
The jambs are consoles shaped, topping a molded pilaster. The upper part is molded on the side with a volute and a stylized acanthus leaf, and on the front carved with a palm.
The fireplace stands on a lion's paw resting on endblocks.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert or marble floor but these could be made to order.
