This Louis XIV style fireplace was made in Carrara marble at the end of the 19th century.
It is decorated with a bolection and an acroterion on the entablature, non raised above as we see more often on the Louis XIV fireplaces.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
