The elegant simplicity of this classical Louis XVI design enhances the beauty of the warm yellow hues of this marble from Sienna. A slightly curved shelf rests on an entablature decorated with a molded recessed panel frieze flanked by square rosettes, supported by softly canted fluted and filled jambs. The sides bear bronze vents.
