Louis XV style mantel in Bois Jourdan marble, 19th century. The curves of the canted console jambs echo those of the heads. The front of the entablature is adorned with molded panels that follow the shape of the hearth opening. Bois Jourdan marble is a brown black marble with scattered bright red veins.
