Very rare size for this tall and narrow fireplace mantel. The original enameled insert and fire curtain are included.
This special marble belongs in the category of polychrome marbles. The exact name is "Bois Jourdan". It has red veins. The quarry is still active today. This marble was used in the decoration of the buffet of the Saint Lazare train station in Paris and in the New York Theater.
