In good condition. Two restorations on one jamb.
This exceptionally beautiful Louis XV style and era antique fireplace in stone was made in the 18th century. The subtly scribed shapes are embellished with fine sculptures. An upturned shell adorns the middle of the entablature while the upper part of the jambs is embellished with foliage.
The top and the frieze are in a single stone block.
