Good condition. Both sides are missing. The feet are restored.
This large mantel was sculpted in the late 18th century out of a very beutiful beige stone.
The serpentine entablature receives on its center an beaitiful stylized shell underlined by an oblong moulding. It rests on restaured jambs with a sculpted and paneled decoration. Our mantel doesn't have sides.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert but with its floor.
