This rare Neo-Gothic style large chimney was made out of carved walnut wood. The front is adorned with romantic Troubadour scenes of courtly love - or called “fin'amor”. Three beautiful winged chimeras are carved on the hood, framed by rich elements. The jambs of the chimney looks like churches columns and are topped with capitals contained two characters : a man and a woman. The complete cast iron insert is decorated with mythological characters dressed in medieval fashion.
This fireplace is sold with its 20th century cast iron insert, but without any marble floor.
