This large Far Eastern style mirror was made at the end of the 19th century. Made of carved sycamore, decorated with a dragon wrapped around the frame and Sakura, the traditional Japanese cherry tree, it is also decorated at the bottom with three shelves arranged in staggered rows accentuating the asymmetry of this piece.
