Louis XVI period mantel in white marble, with very characteristic sober straight lines. Slightly curved above, the jambs are fluted with fillets topped by three husks, rising to heads adorned with rosettes - a very common decorative element during this period. The front is equally fluted and gently curved. The cast iron insert was added in the 19th century.
Original trumeau mirror available as item #9628. Without marble hearth floor.
