Black marble Bolection mantel with acroterion (Reference 1387)
Elegant Louis XIV style mantel in French "black Sablé" marble with acroterion from the 19th century. The straight lined structure of the mantel is characteristic of the Louis XV style, softened by the acroterion adorned with flutes and acanthus leaves in the corner. The acroterion is a strong classical architectural motif highly appreciated in the Louis XIV period.
