Description
Beautiful cast iron fireback from the 18th century with a pair of wedding coats of arms supported by griffins. On the left: azure a single chevron with three crowns; on the right: gules three flowers stems down; above: a marquis crown.
Additional information
We are in the process of identifying the arms.
The fireback is set in a wood structure used as an umbrella holder which can easily be taken apart.
