Fireback in cast iron featuring a "still life" representing the hearth. On a console table draped with passementarie, both a tea and a coffee pot stand on either side of a large vase from which emerges a fire pot. This image evokes the warmth of the hearth and home. The composition is framed with garlands of foliage and crowned with shells.
