This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Breche Violette marble. The jambs are shown as fluted half-columns. The tray rests on a band carved in bas-relief with a frieze of interlacing motifs forming a series of circles, running up to the upper part of the jambs.
TThis fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availabily).
